About
Eric Staggs is a Wisconsin-based writer known for his unusual sense of prose and an enduring passion for science- and speculative fiction. As a graduate of the Creative Writing program of Columbia College Chicago, Eric uses his skills to create thought-provoking and bone-jarring short stories and flash fiction pieces.
Eric received his MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University in 2011. Eric has been published in the Aviator Online Literary Magazine, Tales of the Talisman and Volume One. His short story collection, Space Whales and Other Nonsense was released in February 2011 in eBook format. Eric has worked as a professional freelance web content writer since 2006 and is currently working on his second novel.

Eric earned an interdisciplinary BA from Columbia College Chicago in Creative Writing and Screen Writing in 2006. He earned his MFA in Creative Writing at Full Sail University in 2011.
Eric a member of the Wisconsin Screen Writer’s Forum and the Council for Wisconsin Writers.
His hobbies include philosophy, anthropology, archaeology, astronomy, classical history, gaming, strategy, literature, cinema, cultural trends, technology, Buddhism and of course, zombies.
